COPA for KIDS Sat 13 May 2017

We are holding our annual COPA 4 KIDS fly day, at the big red brick hangar at Lethbridge airport. These flights are entirely free and are open to kids aged 8-17 inclusive. The young aviator will be given food and a drink and they will receive their very own logbook, as well as a certificate of completion. The pilots are all highly qualified and are supplying their aircraft and fuel for free. Please go to our home page to find a link to the signup page. More information is provided on the signup page. Two New Executive Added

If you haven't noticed we have two freshly elected executive. The first is Lynn Wilson, taking over as Treasurer and the second is Joe Harrington, taking over as Secretary. I wish to welcome Lynn and Joe to the executive board.

COPA for KIDS

Our COPA for KIDS fly day is fast approaching. We fly on Sat 17 Sep 16 at the big red brick hangar at Lethbridge Airport. The sign up opens on 16 Aug 16 and closes on 16 Sep 16. COPA For Kids Fly Day

The Lethbridge Sport Flyers/COPA Flight 24 will be holding their 4th Annual COPA For Kids Fly Day. This is a free flight for all kids 8-17 years of age inclusive. They will be flown by very experienced pilots of the Lethbridge Sport Flyers. There will be hotdogs, juice and cookies supplied. Sorry parents, these are for the kids flying only. The Junior Aviators will also receive there very own logbook and a certificate. We would prefer kids living within an hour of Lethbridge, but it is open to anyone. We have a new Vice President

Congratulations to Dwayne, who was elected as our new Vice President at our recent AGM. Mic stays on as President, Sandi stays on as Treasurer, Lauretta stays on as Secretary, Brian stays on as Past President and Al stays on as the webmaster. We are all looking forward to the upcoming year. On another note, our annual Christmas dinner will be held at Luigis on Magrath Drive South. Cocktails at 1800 hr and dinner at 1900 hr.

Fly-In Breakfast

Hi all. Lethbridge Sport Flyers along with the #11 Air Cadets in Lethbridge, will be holding a fly-in breakfast on Sat 26 Sep 15 at Lethbridge County Airport. We have decided to turn over all money raised to the Air Cadets. This is a very good organization for the youth of Lethbridge and we as a group are very much looking forward to supporting them.
